Donderdag 14 oktober 20u00, opening en BAR in de DMT-loods, Copernicuslaan 80a, ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

 
Over het vliegtuig: ‘Ik was 11, fietste met mijn moeder langs een oefenterrein van het leger. Een straaljager vloog laag over. Vanuit mijn tenen zei ik toen tegen mijn moeder: “Oh, dat wil ik ook.” Later ontdekte ik dat ik in het leger zou moeten om te vliegen in een straaljager. En dat wilde ik dan weer niet. […] Dat vliegtuig is mooi. Maar je wilt niet weten dat het eigenlijk een gevechtsmachine is.’

Over de pirouette: ‘Ik kwam er vandaag achter dat ik niet zijwaarts moet bewegen, maar juist omhoog, want dan draai je makkelijker. Je moet zo lang mogelijk voor je uit kijken en dan als laatste je hoofd draaien.’

Over goed zijn: ‘Ik heb dat met veel dingen. Dat ik goed wil zijn in wat ik doe, ook in m’n vak als mondhygiënist. Maar in de kunst voelt het zo kwetsbaar […] en dan ga ik het niet echt meer aan. ’

Over alcohol: ‘Als ik me brak voel, dan wordt het gelijk al niks meer. Het gaat over helderheid. Het voelt alsof ik helder moet zijn om er bij te blijven. Hoewel een ideale kunstenaar wel rookt en drinkt.’

Kortom: ‘Het moet steeds groter en verder. Naar de maan, door de geluidsbarriere.’

HUP: Operation Bongo 3 is een experiment waarin barrières doorbroken en onderzocht zullen worden, in en in de omgeving van de DMT-loods, Boschveld, Den Bosch, Noord-Brabant, Nederland. Het experiment, uitgevoerd gedurende de periode van 11-9 t/m 14-10, zal de effecten op en door Marleen de Puydt zichtbaar maken.
